On the 1st of March 2014 Sports Complex “Pravets” hosted a Folklore competition, organized by The International Festival Program “Friends of Bulgaria” and Municipality of Pravets, Sofia Region. The event was held under the patronage of the Mayor of Pravets Municipality. 
A wide variety of folklore groups took part in the competition. All the dancers were evaluated by a highly expert jury consisting of three members. 

The Emotional performances and tight race provoked Mr. Tsvetan Ivanov, director of the International Festival Program "Friends of Bulgaria" to increase the previously announced prize fund and to provide five additional awards. 
This folklore celebration ended with a concert of the famous Bulgarian ensemble “Chinary”, given as a gift to the citizens and guests of the Municipality, from the Director of The Festival Program “Friends of Bulgaria”.
