Tsvetan Ivanov – Director of International Festival Program “Friends of Bulgaria” gave an interview for the Russian magazine “International Association “Porodniennyue goroda” from the Moscow office of the Program.

During the discussion he talked about the work organization in his office, about the arts, policy and the preparation of the Jubilee Festival in Bulgaria this year.

According to his opinion it is necessary to develop the repertoire of the children choral art. In this context Festival Program “Friends of Bulgaria” held a competition for writing new children choral song with prize fund. The winners were published in 3 wonderful books which are given as a gift in Bulgaria and Russia.

“I am very glad that the interest to Bulgarian art is not dying, that’s why we always try to help with costumes and attributes” – said Tsvetan Ivanov. “Children from different countries are welcome in our Festivals. For us they are the most important thing in the world. We are thinking about them and before and during the Festival, because the future of us all depends on them. We must remember that!” – he stressed.

As for the preparation of the XV International Festival of the Artistic Formations “Friends of Bulgaria” creative team is preparing something enormous, remarkable and memorable. “We know that what we do is a good and needful matter, but I have always many new ideas… I look with curiosity how these ideas develop and grow into a show”.
