‘’ART WITHOUT BORDERS’’

 

 

REGULATION

APPLICATION

 

Theme of the competition: ‘’Our world is one and indivisible’’. 

 

Purpose and tasks:

 - development of the idea of the unity of the natural environment and human civilization on the example of the cultural and historical heritage of each country;

- the development of cognitive activity and thinking, the ability to analyze, express opinions through the fine arts;

- activating the creative potential of children and young people from different countries in the field of fine arts in the modern information and communication environment;

- providing an opportunity to demonstrate and promote new works of art;

- obtaining a competent assessment from independent international experts;

- providing an opportunity to support the motivation of the participants to continue the profession.

 

Period of implementation:    Applications and works are acceptable until 23:59 on February 20, 2022

                                                  The results will be announced by March 14, 2022

 

Participation is open to:students of art schools, centers for personal and creative development, art academy, private art schools, state educational institutions, art centers, clubs, etc.

 

Nominations: Works of all styles and genres of fine arts (landscape, interior, still life, portrait), executed with different techniques (watercolor, gouache, acrylic, oil, pencil, pastel, etc.) are accepted in the following nominations:

           −painting;

            −graphics;

            −drawing..

 

Age groups:    −Children / to 9 years/;

                          −Junior /10-14 years/;

                           −Middle /15-18 years/;

                          − Youth / to 24 years/;

                           − Adults / under 25 years/.

 

Conditions for participation:

1. Works are accepted only in electronic form (photos or files in JPG format, no larger than 5 MB);
2. Each participant can participate in the competition with an unlimited number of works, as long as they submit a separate application;
3. Poor quality works (not focused, darkened, etc.) as well as the presence of editing and other special effects are not allowed to the competition.
4. Images that are offensive or obscene are not allowed.
5. Images that may be considered as advertising (containing logos, product images, brand names) are not allowed.

 

Rewarding the participants:

1. The Organizing Committee invites competent specialists to be jury members. The jury is from Bulgaria and countries participating in the competition, working in the field of fine arts, having a direct connection with art education, culture and art.
2. During the competition review, the jury evaluates the performances according to a 10-point system. The marks are entered in the protocol, on the basis of which the results of the competition are summarized.
3. According to the results of the competition, each of the considered applications is awarded one of the prizes: "Diploma", "Diploma of laureate I, II, III degree", Diploma "Grand Prix".
4. The members of the jury and the organizing committee are not allowed to announce the results of the competition before their official publication.
5. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to publish a complete list of participants and their entries. The leaders of the teams, signing a contract with the organizing committee, agree with this condition and confirm the consent of the parents to publish photo and video materials in print and electronic media.
6. All diplomas, certified and signed by the Organizing Committee, are sent electronically to the email address specified in the application. Those wishing to receive original diplomas pay postage / courier costs.

Competition results: The works will be exhibited in Albena Resort during the plein air. Photos of the works will be published on the website of the International Festival Center "Friends of Bulgaria" https://www.festival-bg.comand in the social networks of the festival center. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to organize other exhibitions of the best works.

Payment for participation in the competition is made after submitting the application and receiving notification from the organizer of its receipt.

Participation fee for one competition work - BGN 10.

To participate, supervisors / parents must no later than February 20, 2022:

1. To fill in a form for participation in the competition;
2. To send the works to the organizing committee (by email festival_db@abv.bg);
3. To pay a participation fee;
